Not really. She was adopted by a family who waited 4 weeks just to meet her. They love her very much and she is part of their family now. But there are just some cats who steal your heart and never give it back. Candi is one of those cats for me. I don't know how I had the strength to let her go. Guess I was trying to be “strong”. Sometimes being strong is actually being stupid. This was one of those times, and I am paying the price.
That’s a good thing though. It’s so much better than the alternative. For those who found homes from here, I later worry. I usually don’t see much of them after that, and I don’t know what kind of people they really are. Candi is loved and safe and you know that. That is so good.
I wish I could say the same for everyone who has left here.
Oh my what a GORGEOUS picture of this little sweetheart! I would be very challenged to hold pets until they are adopted… especially something as beautiful as this!!!
